About Marjorie's Bears

Hi welcome to Marjorie's Bears and thank you for stopping by to meet us all. Marge has been a "bear lady" for nearly half a century and is a maker, trainer, physician and friend to all the lucky bears here. Marge's bears are made from traditional, natural products- our fur is fine mohair, we have suede or velvet paws, real glass eyes and we are jointed with old-fashioned cotter pins (Marge says plastic joints are for common bears.) We are individually sewn by Old Marge herself and provided with nice clothes so that prospective Mommies will know that we are well brought up bears.

Before any bear is allowed to go forward for adoption he/she must graduate from "Marge's Academy For Civilized Bears". In truth some of us remain very naughty indeed but Marge can always be brought round with a cute look and a cuddle.
